Before joining her current station in October 2011, she worked in Tuscaloosa for 10 years. While here, she covered big stories including the April 2011 tornado outbreak, Hurricane Ivan and Katrina, and football coach Nick Saban.
Born in the United States, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama with a dual major in Broadcast News and Spanish. While a student at Capestone, she had the opportunity to report, produce and present on local station WVUA-TV.
