Craig Melvin is an American journalist best known for working on NBC News and MSNBC. He works on NBC’s Today as a news anchor and is a co-host of the Today Third Hour.
Melvin went to school in Wolfford College and then obtained a bachelor of arts degree in government. His career as a journalist began at Columbia High. He worked as a teen reporter for WIS News 10. After graduating from college in 2001, Melvin returned to WIS News. Craig was also known for Craig Cam for live shows. In 2008, Melvin left WIS to work at WRC-TV in Washington as a reporter and anchor.
During this time, he was also the anchor of many weekend broadcasts. In 2011, he also got his big break and joined MNSBC as Dayside Anchor and moved to New York. Since 2011, he has also worked as the weekend anchor and co-host of MSNBC Live and MSNBC Live.
Currently, Melvin works for NBC News, where he started as a news correspondent in 2012 and later became an anchor. From 2015 to 2018, Craig worked for NBC’s ‘Weekend Today’ News as a co-anchor.
