Danamarie Mcnicholl is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter and anchor for KREM 2 News. Previously, Mcnicholl was a general reporter for the station prior to her promotion in August 2019. However, she left the station for a year to win Miss Washington 2018.
After her education, she attended and graduated from The Academy of Our Lady of Peace in San Diego. Later, she graduated Cum Laude in 2017 from Gonzaga University with a degree in Broadcast and Electronic Media. She is currently pursuing a master of science in criminal justice with a concentration in cybersecurity at Boston University.
In August 2013, she began her career as a communications assistant and press officer for the Careers and Camping Center at Universidade Gonzaga. She also served as a newsroom intern for San Diego 6 News, XETV SD/CW6-Bay City Television, where she worked from May 2016 to August 2016.
In 2019, Mcnicholl crowned Miss Washington. She was also awarded the General Interview and Talent Award. She later embarked on a year of public service. She currently works as a morning news anchor for KREM 2 Media Group in Spokane, Washington since August 2019.
