Deborah Norville is an American television journalist and businesswoman. She currently anchors Inside, a syndicated television news magazine, a position she has held since March 6, 1995. Norville is a member of the board of directors of ViacomCBS. In addition, Norville markets and sells her own line of yarn, Deborah Norville Collection, to knitting and crocheting enthusiasts manufactured by Premier Yarns.
Previously, Deborah served as an anchor and correspondent for CBS News, after serving as a co-host of Today on NBC. She has her book, Thank You Power, which was once a New York Times bestseller.
Born and raised in Dalton, Georgia, Deborah won the local Miss Junior pageant at a young age. This is a beauty contest for high school girls. She even represented Georgia in the 1976 Miss Junior of America pageant.

Norville then joined WAGA-TV as a full-time reporter after graduating and became the weekend news anchor in October 1979. In 1982, she was hired as a reporter and then anchor for WMAQ-TV, the NBC-owned station in Chicago. . In 1986, it was announced that she would be joining NBC News in New York.
