Jeremy Wang, better known as Disguised Toast, is a Taiwanese-Canadian streamer, YouTuber, and Internet personality. He is a member of OfflineTV, an online social entertainment group of content creators. Wang has gained over 3.7 million YouTube subscribers for his videos playing Hearthstone and Among Us. Earlier, he gained fame for his work on Hearthstone streams.
Wang was born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in Penang, Malaysia. Later, his family moved to Ontario, Canada, where he studied high school at Queen’s University in Kingston. During his time there, he taught himself how to program and animate Flash video games. In 2013, he received his 3-year degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo after initially majoring in computer science. While still at university, during summer break, Jeremy worked for different companies such as Zynga, Mercedes-Benz, NFL and Royal Bank of Canada.
After graduating from university, Toast started making Hearthstone plays and uploading them to YouTube. He also had over 1.3 million followers on Twitch and 950,000 subscribers on his main YouTube channel. Toast also worked with Facebook Gaming for two years.
Furthermore, Disguised was nominated for Twitch Streamer of the Year at the 11th annual Shorty Awards in 2019. The following year, he introduced a new non-gaming series called “Blind and Dating”.
