Eric Shawn Biography
Eric Shawn is an American news anchor and senior correspondent for Fox News Channel (FNC). He currently works as an anchor on Fox News Live Saturday from 4pm to 6pm and Sunday from 1pm to 2pm alongside Arthel Neville. Previously, he worked as a reporter for WNYC TV in New York City, WPIX and WNYW News.
Shawn was born and raised in New York City, United States. He graduated from Trinity School in New York. He later furthered his studies at Georgetown University, where he majored in urban studies. Prior to joining the Fox News affiliate, Eric worked at several network stations as a reporter such as WNY TV in New York City, WPIX and WNYW News.
Furthermore, he also served as a senior correspondent for FOX News Edge. While there, he covered extensive stories such as the 1992 Clinton campaign and the Democratic and Republican national conventions. Furthermore, Shawn also provided reports for the 1995 OJ Simpson murder trial straight from the Los Angeles courthouse.
Prior to joining the station in 1996, Shawn currently works as an anchor and correspondent for Fox New Channel. Furthermore, he hosts Riddle: The Search for James R. Hoffa Nation. While working with the FOX News Channel, Eric broadcast from the specialist in terrorism and politics and from the United Nations. Likewise, he has covered the cases of terror in the United States and, before that, he covered the death of Princess Diana and the trial of Michael Skakel.
