Erika Gonzalez is a well-known American journalist who currently hosts the Fox 31 nightly news at 11pm, Colorado’s only late-night news channel. In September 2015, Gonzales joined the FOX31 and Channel 2 news teams.
Erika attended Florida International University and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She began her career as a public relations consultant in Miami, where she grew up. Erika went on to work for CBS Miami affiliate WFOR as an editor.
Erika moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in the winter of 2011 to work at WMBF. She covered news around the Grand Strand and reported on the morning traffic. She moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 2013 to work as a repossession specialist.
