Eva Pilgrim is a South Korean American journalist who currently works as a correspondent for ABC News and a weekend co-anchor of the Good Morning America Weekend Edition. She joined ABC News in December 2015. As a presenter and anchor, she has hosted various ABC shows such as News Specials, This Week, GMA3: What You Need to Know and others.
In addition to all this, she has also reported on various sporting events and seminars. Furthermore, she has worked for various news outlets and rose to prominence after revealing her pregnancy news on Good Morning America in July 2021.
After her education, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2004. Eva was a staff member for the Carolina News. Most notably, she joined Good Morning America in October 2018 as a weekend co-anchor replacing Paul Faris.
Prior to joining her current station, she worked as an anchor and reporter for 6ABC from 2012 to 2015 when she joined ABC. While on 6ABC, she covered Amtrak’s derailment of Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia and also did some investigative work.
Eva started her career in 2002 as a web producer at WIS-TV. However, she left the station in 2004 for the position of morning anchor and reporter for the WVVA in Bluefield from 2004 to 2006. After leaving the WVVA in 2006, she joined Fox Charlotte as a reporter and anchor. She also worked at WXIN-TV as an anchor.
