Finn Wolfhard is a Canadian actor and musician. He is known for playing Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things (2016). Furthermore, Finn has also appeared in films such as It (2017), the sequel It: Chapter Two (2019) and Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021).
Wolfhard was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and attended a Catholic school. Wolfhard began his acting career by appearing in the short film “Aftermath” in 2013. A year later, he appeared in a television debut in an episode of “The 100” as Zoran and played Jordie Pinsky in “Supernatural”. In 2016, Wolfhard was cast as Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series “Stranger Things”. He appeared in 34 episodes of the show until 2022.
The series was a success and received several awards, including the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series; two MTV Movie & TV Awards for Program of the Year; an AFI Award for TV Show of the Year; and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Dramatic Television Series.
