Regarding her education, Francesca attended and graduated from Chamblee Charter High School in 2008. Later in 2012, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Communication and Media Studies from Vanderbilt University.
Her journey has been full of accomplishments. In her first month at 11Alive News, she conducted interviews with Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey. She also created the station’s first entertainment segment, The A-Scene, a year after joining the station.

In late 2018, she won the Media Mover Award from the Technology Association of Georgia.
