Geoff Bennett is an American journalist who has been working as a White House correspondent for NBC News in Columbia, Washington since 2017.
Bennett worked as a White House reporter and Congressional reporter at NPR. For the NY1 News in New York, Geoff covered Capitol Hill and national politics. He also worked for other Time Warner-owned cable news stations across the country.
Bennett has been a frequent guest host for C-SPAN’s newspapers and public relations programs in Washington. He was also editor of the Weekend Edition with NPR. When Donald Trump supported a bipartisan effort that would successfully bolster the Affordable Care ActBennett reported this and at the same time distanced himself from it.
