Gina Maravilla is an American journalist who is an American journalist who currently works as a traffic anchor and reporter at KTVK. She is also a media personality known for hosting ‘Good Morning Arizona’. Prior to that, she worked as a morning news anchor and reporter at KPHO.
She attended and graduated from Georgetown University, where he graduated in Political Economy and Political Journalism. She later joined Arizona State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. From here, she received a degree in political science and a minor in sociology.
Later, she enrolled at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. Likewise, Maravilla obtained a degree in broadcast journalism. while attending Georgetown University, she worked at “Meet the Press” in Washington as part of a political journalism program.
She then started at 3TV as a 19-year-old intern. She later climbed the ladder, becoming a reporter and weekend anchor. Gina spent 10 years of her career on Channel 3 before leaving the desert for the beach. She also anchored and reported on BayNews9 in Tampa, Florida, where she covered the Florida presidential campaign in 2004.
Most notably, she later returned to the Phoenix area where her two children were born. Maravilla is happy to be back home and enjoys covering the community she loves.
