Glenda Lewis is an American journalist who currently co-anchores 7 Action News on WXYZ-TV, where she hosts the 5pm news. She joined the station on September 1, 2003. When she joined, she worked as a General Assignment Reporter and co-anchor of Action News Sunday at 6pm and 11pm.
Prior to joining her current station, she worked at WJRT-TV in Flint. There she worked as a co-anchor. She attended Michigan State University, where she earned a BA in Advertising and Marketing. She later did graduate work at Specs Howard of Broadcasting.
Most notably, she started her career as a reporter and photographer at WBKB-TV in Alpena. After years as an anchor and reporting on different TV networks, she joined WXYZ-TV on September 1, 2003. She also worked at WLNS-TV in Lansing where she worked as a reporter and anchor.
