Graciela Moreno is a renowned American journalist who currently works as an anchor, reporter and presenter for ABC30 Action News, Disney in Fresno, California, United States of America. Prior to joining the network, Graciela worked as a news anchor for KFTV CH21 UNIVISION in Fresno, California.
She attended and graduated in 1995 from California State University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication.
Graciela landed her first television job while still in college, as a producer for Univision’s Sacramento affiliate. A few months after receiving her bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University, Stanislaus, Graciela returned to Fresno as the main anchor for KFTV, Channel 21.
In 1997, Moreno joined the ABC30 Action News team. She currently hosts the Monday-Friday editions of Action News at Six and Action News at 6:30, for which she has received three Emmy Awards. In addition, she hosts and produces Latino Life, a weekly half-hour show that focuses on issues and people impacting the Latino community.
Moreno’s most memorable stories were Pope John Paul II’s visit to Mexico City in 2002 for the canonization of San Juan Diego. Prior to joining ABC News in 1997, Graciela worked as an anchor and reporter for KFTV CH21 UNIVISION in Fresno, California from May 1995 to February 1997.
While there, Graciela led the 6pm weekday anchor and general reporter, as well as working as a presenter and announcer on a morning variety show.
