Graham Richardson is a Canadian journalist currently working as the chief news anchor at CTV News Ottawa. He also anchors Season 6 and the afternoon news on Newstalk 580 CFRA. Before resuming his current role, he worked covering Parliament for almost four years. He also filed reports for Kandahar Afghanistan.
Prior to his Parliament Hill assignment, he was CTV’s Los Angeles bureau chief, covering the trail of Michael Jackson and Hurricane Katrina, among other stories. Prior to joining CTV News, he was head of the Queen’s Park global news bureau. Graham spent eight years in Albert before joining Global News.
Born in Connecticut, Canada, he attended and graduated from Queen’s University with a bachelor’s degree. He also earned a graduate degree from the University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Richardson worked for the CBC in Calgary, Albert until his departure in 1997. When off duty, he loves to volunteer and, along with his wife, they are active dance partners.
