She is also known for her role as Zoe Woods in the Syfy horror anthology series Channel Zero: Butcher’s Black, Bridget Cleary in the Amazon Prime Video horror anthology documentary series Lore, and Erin Isaacs in No Escape.
Born in Dallas, Texas, she attended the Hockaday School, an all-girls private school. She majored in molecular biology and women’s studies at UCLA. She also spent three and a half years in pre-medical education with the goal of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon before turning to acting full-time.
Holland starred in the HBO comedy series 12 Miles of Bad Road playing Bronwyn. In 2008, she played Emily Locke on Lost, and between 2008 and 2010, she appeared as a guest on television series, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, among others. She began starring as Lydia Martin on Teen Wolf in 2011. She reprized that role in the recent Teen Wolf: The Movie in 2023.
