Holly Bristow is an award-winning American journalist who currently works at FOX 35 as a reporter and anchor for a period of 12 years starting in 2021. She is a native of Florida and spent her teenage years in Satellite Beach, where she graduated from Satellite High School.
Holly’s interest in the news came early. Her mom always has the TODAY SHOW as she gets ready for school every morning and that’s what got her eyes on broadcast journalism. Later, she graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in telecommunications. Holly obtained practical experience reports for WuFT-TV.
She also anchored the local edition cut-ins for Cable Cox, which aired in the Gainesville area on CNN Headline News. After graduation, she began her career at WTOC-TV in Savannah, Georgia, before moving on to WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Since joining FOX 35 News in July 2007, she has led The News Station’s coverage of the biggest local stories. Most notably, she is multi-talented. She spent Orlando City Soccer Club’s inaugural MSL season serving as the official sideline reporter. To that end, she is also the first to fill FOX 35’s SportsZone anchor.
Holly loves to stay active and says working out before work in the morning helps keep her in balance. When she is off duty, she likes to spend her free time at the beach reading a good book or taking a boat ride with family and friends. Furthermore, she enjoys shopping, traveling and spending time with her husband, stepdaughter and new puppy.
