He currently writes weekly columns for ESPN.com and ESPN The Magazine, ESPN, while regularly presenting on ESPN Radio since August 2007. Bryant is also a frequent speaker on The Sports Reporters and was the Weekend Edition sports correspondent with Scott Simon on National Public Radio.

Bryant is a prolific baseball writer on a variety of topics that affect the game. He is the author of the Legends series for young leaders; Unplug: A History of Race and Baseball in Boston; The Last Hero: The Life of Henry Aaron; and Juicing Game.
