Jadiann Thompson is an American Emmy-winning journalist and news anchor, currently working for WHDH Channel 7 as a weekly news anchor. She can be seen live broadcasting the 4:00 pm, 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm news. Prior to joining WHDH Channel 7, Thompson worked as a weekend anchor at 41 Action News KSHB, KTWO TV and as a multimedia journalist at KPHO, a Meredith Corporation.
Thompson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from University of Arkansas. While in college, she interned as a Capitol intern at Congressman John Boozman.
Thompson started her career as an English teacher in Gredos San Diego. In February 2009, she officially started working as an anchor, reporter and assistant news director. She worked at the station for over two years before moving to KPHO, a Meredith Corporation. Thompson worked at KPHO as a multimedia journalist and station anchor between April 2011 and April 2013.
Working at KPHO opened many doors for Jadiann, exposing her to a lot of fieldwork and investigations. Notably, she unlocked the secrets involved in the Joe Arpaio and Jadi Arias trials.
