Jake Tapper is a renowned writer, author and cartoonist from the United States. He is CNN’s main Washington anchor and hosts the weekday TV news The Lead with Jake Tapper, and co-hosts the State of the Union public affairs program on the Sunday morning State of the Union public affairs program.
Tapper’s 27-year career has seen him cover significant events in the United States, including the inauguration of President Obama in January 2009.
