Jane Coaston is an American journalist who currently works as an editor and host for “The Argument”. She mainly writes about politics, BLM, and sexuality-related topics. Prior to that, she was the senior political reporter for VOX, focusing on conservatism and GOP Coaston’s work has appeared on MSNBC, CNN and NPR and the National Review.
Furthermore, she has appeared in The Washington Post, The Ringer, and ESPN Magazine among others. She is also a former resident scholar at the University of Chicago Policy Institute. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Jane attended and graduated from the University of Michigan and lives in Washington.
In March 2012, she joined the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation as the Media Relations Coordinator. While there, she supported communication efforts in African-based national programs, defining communication protocols and translating them into engaging content. However, after working here for 1 year and 7 months, she left the foundation in September 2013.
