Janelle Hall biography
Janelle Hall is an American journalist who currently works as a news anchor for Action News 4 of Pittsburgh (WTAE). She can be found on the air at 6pm and 11pm on weekdays since she joined the station in 2004. Hall attended City High School. She later attended Kent State University where she majored in broadcast news and majored in criminal justice.
Most notably, she started her career with WFRA-FM and WRJS-FM. During this time, she was at the tender age of 16 years old. Prior to joining her current station, she worked at WCVB, an ABC affiliate, as a reporter. Furthermore, she worked as an anchor and reporter at KCRA, an NBC affiliate in Sacramento, California.
Hall received several awards, including Best Investigative Reporting from the Indian Society of Professional Journalists for his secret investigative reporting on pirated products such as illegal DVDs and CDs sold on the street.
