Janet Rodriguez is a renowned American Emmy Award-winning journalist who currently works for WhatsApp as an internal communications manager. Previously, Janet worked at Univision Communications Inc. as a White House correspondent. She joined the station in April 2016 from Telemundo Network News in Chicago, where she worked as a correspondent.
Janet spent 10 years working as a reporter in Washington DC, Phoenix, Arizona and Chicago. Originally from Cuba, Rodriquez’s family migrated to Miami when she was 12 years old. In Cuba, journalism was dominated by the government and nothing would pave the way for ordinary journalism to shine. After moving to Miami, she was surprised by the delivery tables.
