Jason Rantz is an American journalist known for currently working as a 3pm to 6pm weekday radio host on the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH 770 AM / 94.5 FM radio in Bonneville International, Seattle, Tacoma. He regularly appears on the Ben Shapiro Show giving conservative political commentary at the local and national levels.
Rantz went to Pacific Hills High School, an independent co-educational school in West Hollywood, California. Later, after his high school progress, he graduated with a BA in Politics from Occidental College, a private liberal arts college in Los Angeles, California, in 2004.
Previously, Jason hosted the Talks Show on Free FM San Diego for 6 months since January 2007 and on Infinity Broadcasting for 2 years and a month since March 1999, where he hosted The Very Late Show alongside Bailey. However, he has also hosted the Jason Rantz Show & Sounders FC Weekly for 3 years and 8 months since January 2014 on KIRO Radio News.
However, he has also made frequent local and national TV appearances on FO News, NBC Nightly News, KIRO TV, KING 5, KOMO TV The Daily Wire and Q13. Rantz began his radio career at age 15, co-hosting a children’s talk show at XTRA Sports in Los Angeles. He earned his news as a producer at the world famous KFI-Los Angeles after moving from screenwriter to producer to a substitute presenter at KLSX-FM, Los Angeles. He also has his comedy skills as an executive producer of the syndicated Phil Hendrie Show.
