Jean Trebek is an entrepreneur, real estate developer, philanthropist and blogger who rose to fame as the wife and widow of Canadian game show host and TV personality Late Canadain-American named Alex Trebek. Trebek was known for hosting a nationally syndicated general knowledge trivia game show called Jeaorpady for nearly 37 seasons from 1984 until his death in 2020. Alex TRebek’s cause of death was pancreatic cancer. Trebek and Alex were married for over thirty years and had two wonderful children before Alex’s death. Jean also worked as a real estate manager and project manager in New York before meeting Alex.
