Jeff Probst is a game show host and also an executive producer working with Mark Burnett, the creator of Survivor Show. He is best known as the Emmy-winning host of the reality adventure show ‘Survivor’. However, he also used to host his own show, The Jeff Probst Show.
Although he was born in Wichita, Kansas, United States, he grew up in Bellevue, Washington. After graduating from Newport High School in 1979, he joined Seattle Pacific University. He also worked at the Boeing Motion Picture/Television studio as a producer and narrator of marketing videos.
After that, he switched to KIRO TV, where he hosted a variety of shows. In 1994, he joined FX, where he introduced Backchat and Sound FX. This temporal show lasted 4 years and in 1998 he was performing Rock n Roll Jeopardy on VH1.
He established himself as a survivor in 2000, where he learned about it on a radio show where Mark Burnett was promoting him. Luckily, it was his golden chance. When they connected, it was a super match. The show was first staged in Borneo in 2000, where it had over 30 million spectators.
The show has been performed in different venues since its first flourishing show. These locations include Thailand, Australia, Vanuatu, Guatemala, Gabon, Samoa. This series has since been growing with many viewers.
