Jenna Harner is an American journalist who currently works at WPXI-TV, Channel 11 Sports, as a multimedia sports journalist. She joined 11 News Sports Department in April 2018.
Although she is originally from South Windsor, Connecticut, Jenna is no stranger to New York State. Harner grew up as an avid sports fan and pursued a career in broadcast journalism at Ithaca College. He graduated summa cum laude from Roy H. Park School of Communications. A few days after graduation, Jenna won a College Emmy Award before starting her first job at WENY-TV in Elmira, New York.
While at the Southern Tier, Harner won an Associated Press Award for Best Sports Coverage. After a two-year stint in Elmira, covering everything from high school football to NASCAR, she moved to Buffalo, NY to join the WIVB sports team. During her time at Buffalo, she covered the Bills, Sabers and University of Buffalo track and field. In 2019, Jenna covered UB’s historic soccer wins in the Bahamas Bowl and Dollar General Bowl 2018. Additionally, she hovered over the 2018 UB women’s basketball team’s NCAA tournament.
