Jennifer Jordan is a two-time Emmy-winning American journalist who currently works as a reporter for FOX 8. Jordan started working for WJW-TV FOX 8 News in January 2012 as a midday anchor and evening reporter.
Jennifer completed her education in Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he earned a BS in Broadcast Journalism. Jennifer is also a member Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists. Ashley was inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame at Peekskill High School in 2013.
Jordan has also won several community awards for his commitment to covering local news and volunteering for a variety of local charities. Jordan worked as a freelance general assignment reporter for WPIX-TV/CW11 before joining FOX 8. She also worked at the station as a fill-in anchor.
Jennifer covered some of the most important stories in the New York metropolitan area in just a few months. The mid-air tourist plane/helicopter collision over the Hudson River, which made national headlines, was covered by continuous breaking news coverage.
Jordan also covered the fatal shooting of a Jersey City police officer and the attempted car bombing in Times Square as a lead reporter. Jennifer came to PIX News from WNYW/Fox 5 and WWOR-TV/My 9 in New York. She worked as a general reporter and anchor for New York City’s only duopoly.

She won two Emmy Awards during her time there, one for On-Camera Achievement. The second for a hard-hitting multi-part investigation titled “Predator Next Door”. Previously, Jordan anchored the weekend news on WFIE-TV in Evansville, Indiana. Prior to that, she was a general reporter and anchor for WBKO-TV in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
