Jeremy Hubbard biography
Jeremy Hubbard (born Jeremy David Hubbard) is an American news anchor for KDVR-TV and KWGN-TV in Denver and was a correspondent for ABC News in New York. Additionally, he has reported for all ABC News broadcasts and platforms, including Good Morning America, World News with Diana Sawyer and Nightline. After his education, Hubbard is a proud graduate of Wichita State University, where he majored in broadcast journalism.
Prior to working as an anchor, he was a Chicago correspondent for NewsOne, the news service affiliated with ABC News. He joined the network in the spring of 2007 and has reported on politics, economics, server weather and breaking news. More recently, Jeremy covered several stories for NewsOne, including the deadly shooting on the Northern Illinois University campus.
Prior to joining ABC News, Jeremy was a reporter for KDVR-TV in Denver, where he covered the battle against illegal immigration. He also traveled to the Mexican border, documenting the efforts of the controversial Minuteman Project to stop illegal immigrants from entering the United States. After that, he moved to KMBC-TV in Kansas City, where he worked from 1998 to 2004.
While there, he covered several high-profile national stories. Jeremy reported from Texas after the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster and traveled to Terre Haute, Indiana for the execution of convicted Oklahoma City suicide bomber Timothy McVeigh. He also co-produced, co-wrote and starred in Eye for an Eye, an award-winning documentary about McVeigh’s execution.
Additionally, Hubbard co-anchored ABC’s morning news shows World News Now and America This Morning with Vinita Nair from March 2008 to July 2010. However, he left ABC News on May 20, 2010. 2011 and returned to KDVR-TELEVISION.
