Jim Morelli is an American journalist who currently works as a general reporter for the Boston 25 News. Furthermore, he joined the station in January 2015. Prior to that, he worked as a freelance correspondent for CNN, specializing in medical stories outside the Boston area.
He studied and graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston. Morelli also holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Tufts University.
His career started in Atlanta, Georgia. While there, he first worked as an associate producer for The Airport Network. He then went on to write and anchor for CNN Headline News and CNN Radio. His first job as a local reporter was also in Atlanta at the WGCL. He worked as a reporter and anchor for the WCVB from 2004 to 2009.
Before joining his current station, he worked as a freelance correspondent for CNN. He currently works at WFXT FOX 25 Boston as a general reporter.
