Prior to joining ABC 11 Eyewitness News, Mazur worked as Sports Director and Sports Anchor of the Week at KFOX in El Paso, Texas. Joe’s sports broadcasting career began at KJCT-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Mazur has been honored with several awards in his career, including Associated Press Best Sports Cast in 1997, 1998, and 1999. Additionally, he was nominated for an Emmy for working on a Dallas Cowboys special and awarded the Crystal Award Of Excellence for the same program. .
