John Gidding is a Turkish-American TV personality on HGTV’s ‘Curb Appeal’ show, where homeowners work with professional landscapers to innovate homes for prospective buyers. Hand is an architect and interior designer and a former model.
John is also known for acting in the TV series Curb Appeal Xtreme (2021), ABC Family Tv Knock First (2003) and Curb Appeal: The Block (2010). He started for well-known brands Armani, Hugo Boss and Gucci as a graduate before being represented by Wilhelmina Models. In 2015, he was one of the expert judges on the Fox TV show Home Free. John also joined the Trading Spaces reboot (2000-2008).
He was also the spokesperson for Jhane Barnes in 2004 and 2005 and was on the cover of several novels. In 1999, he was named one of the ’50 Most Beautiful People at Yale’ by Rumpus Magazine. And in 2002, one of ‘Boston’s 50 Most Eligible Bachelors’ by The Improper Bostonian.

At Yale, he was in the Orpheus and Bacchus Society and the Yale Glee Club as a singer. At Harvard, he sang with the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum.
In New York, he founded John Gidding Design Inc. after working for Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates as a designer for two years. He also supports the LGBTQ community for being gay. Today he runs a successful Atlanta company called Janus Arch and is also the founder and CEO of GAVL.
