John Iadarola is an American talk show host, political commentator and YouTube personality who is best known for hosting the online news show The Young Turks and The Damage Report. In addition, he is the host of the documentary series True North, available on Verizon’s go90 streaming service.
Iadarola has a degree in political science from University of Connecticut. Immediately after graduation, he joined the University of Texas in Austin for his Ph.D. in the Government since 2007.

Career of John Iadarola
In January 2012, John became the co-host of TYTUniversity, a show that was later renamed ThinkTank in 2005. This is the second most popular show on the network alongside Ana Kasparian and producer of The Young Turks. A few months later, he became the show’s lead host and executive producer following Kasparian’s departure. During this time, John also began co-hosting The Young Turks and other YouTube shows such as TYT Sports, TwentyTwelve, The Point, Pop Trigger, and What The Flick, among others.
In May 2013, he debuted his own independent YouTube channel, The Damage Report. On the channel, he presents topics such as domestic and foreign policy, media criticism, technology and social commentary on the news of the day.
On September 25, 2013, Iadarola openly revealed that he is an atheist. Later, in 2017, he appeared as a personality in the History Channel series: “The Ultimate Guide to Sounding Smart”. While still co-hosting True North with Chavala Madlena, John traveled to the Arctic to film the documentary series covering the effects of climate change.
In May 2018, TYT Network announced its incorporation into the YouTube OTT programming service. In addition, it announced a new daily show called “The Damage Report” hosted by John.
