John Lauritsen is an American Emmy-winning reporter from Montevideo, Minnesota, currently working as a reporter at WCCO-Tv since July 2007. Previously, John worked at KSAX-TV in Alexandria, Minnesota.
John participated Montevideo Secondary School. She later joined Campus St. Cloud State where he graduated with a master’s degree in Mass Communication. Furthermore, he taught a class there as well.
After graduation, Lauritsen began his career at KSAX-TV in Alexandria, Minnesota, before moving to Waterloo, Iowa, where he worked for KWWL-TV. Furthermore, John worked on Channel 12 in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota before joining WCCO-TV. During his television years, John has served as a reporter, anchor, sports reporter, sports anchor, editor, producer, and photographer during his television career.
On WCCO-TV, John covered a variety of stories, including flooding to tornadoes and blizzards that dumped nearly two feet of snow across Minnesota. It also covers crime stories, fire, human interest stories, and sporting events.
