John Sartori is a well-known American journalist who has been a sports anchor and reporter for KTAL-News NBC6 since November 2020. He is a proud alumnus of Southeastern Louisiana University and spent four years working on the school’s television station, The Southeastern Channel. He is from Mandeville, Louisiana.
John worked as an anchor and reporter for The Big Game, the station’s weekly sports show, and as host of the station’s biweekly Lion Tracks Coaches talk show while in Hammond.
Sartori has received numerous accolades throughout his time at the school, including two student Emmys for his efforts on camera. He also won the Collegiate Associated Press Best Sports Story award in 2019.
Sartori has worked as a play-by-play announcer for a variety of teams and networks. He has called football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball for ESPN+, Southland Conference Digital Network, and Varsity Sports Now, among other networks.
