John Veneri is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter and host for KHON’s original lifestyle show “Living808”. He joins Tannya Joaquin and Mikey Monis for Hawaii’s original lifestyle show Living808 weekdays at 9am on KHON2.
He brings his irrepressible personality and nonstop laughs to Hawaii viewers as co-host of Living808. In addition, he wore many hats on KHON2, from his current role as host of Living808 and “Sam Choy’s in the Kitchen” to sports anchor from 1995 to 2010 to working behind the scenes in production and marketing from 2010-17.
Before returning to hosting, he honed his production skills as a member of KHON2’s marketing and production team, writing, directing, filming and editing station promotions and commercials for 7 years. After his education, he graduated from the University of Hawaii.
