Jordan Patrick is a Scottish-Australian actor who is well known for his guest roles in some of Australia’s top soap operas. He was cast as Andrew Robinson in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. The character’s backstory was changed to accommodate his Scottish accent.
He finished filming Neighbours in 2012. Since then, Patrick has appeared in the feature films Unbroken, Banished, Vikings and Lovecraft Country.
He was born in Fife and studied St. Columbia High School. While there, he played football at the Dunfermline youth academy. During a holiday in Australia in 2001, his family fell in love with the country and decided to emigrate. At the time, Smith was thirteen years old. He later attended Carmel Catholic College.

He also admits that Neighbours had to change his character’s backstory because of his Scottish accent. Additionally, he admits that if he wasn’t playing the role of Andrew Robinson, he would have enjoyed the role of fellow Neighbours cast member Lucas Fitzerald. Smith lived with his co-star Chris Milligan while appearing on Neighbours.
However, in November 2012, Neighbours announced that Smith would be leaving. He made his final appearance as Andrew on 29 March 2013. Later in 2015, he appeared in the BBC series Banished and joined the cast of Vikings as Ubbe in 2016. In 2020, he played William in the HBO series Lovecraft Country.
