Josh Frydman is an American journalist currently co-host of Sports Feed on CLTV and a sports reporter and deputy anchor on WGN. He joined the station in October 2014 from KFVS-TV in Cabo Girardeau, Missouri, where he served as a sports anchor and reporter.
Josh participated Stevenson College. He then joined the University of Missouri at Columbia, where he did broadcast journalism. On campus, Josh was the sports director for the campus television station MUTV and worked several years at the local NBC affiliate owned by KOMU-TV and operated by the Missouri School of Journalism.
He also spent the summer in Kinston, North Carolina working as a broadcast and media relations intern for the Cleveland Indians High A affiliate baseball team. Beginning in May 2010, Josh began another internship in the ABC7 sports department. in Chicago.
Frydman also worked as a journalism ambassador for the Missouri School of Journalism, where he offered tours of prospective students and families of journalism facilities, including KOMU-TV. He has also helped with numerous journalism and alumni events, including the Missouri Honors Banquet and a college career fair in St. Louis.

Frydman began his journalistic career in August 2011 as a sports reporter and producer for WMC-TV, an NBC affiliate in Memphis. In August 2012, he moved to KFVS-Tv, where he worked as a sports anchor and reporter. He anchored and produced the weekend sports news and weekday reports on sports in southeastern Missouri, southern Illinois and western Kentucky.
Starting in January 2014, Josh performed “The Saturday Morning Express” on SEMO ESPN radio network, KGIR 1220 AM and 92.9 FM from 10 am to 11 am every Saturday. He also served as host and producer for “The Sports Huddle” weekdays from 9 am to 10 am.
However, in October 2014, he got another job as a sports producer, editing nightly and weekend sports news. He also conducted interviews while working with photographers in the field covering all of Chicago’s top professional sports teams, local colleges and high school athletics.
In June 2015, Josh joined WGN-TV as a sports anchor and reporter. Along with daily reporting assignments, the company features story ideas about local athletes, coaches and teams. He also hosts WGN’s 30-minute nightly sports program called GN Sports on Friday nights and serves as a fill-in anchor for the station’s sports broadcasts on weekdays and weekends.
