Joyce Taylor is an American Award-winning journalist who currently works as an anchor and reporter for KING5 Evening News, an NBC affiliate station in Seattle, United States. It presents the news at 5:00 pm, 6:30 pm and 11:00 pm. Before joining her station, she worked as a news anchor on WFMY.
Growing up in Tacoma, Joyce attended a local school in Washington. She later graduated from Western University of Washington in Bellingham, Washington, United States, with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication.
Following her career, she has worked as a journalist for over 32 years and has won six Emmy Awards for her work. Most notably, she began working for KING5 Television in 1988 as an anchor and night reporter. She has interviewed US presidents, secretaries of state, sportsmen and women and ordinary people.
She is currently the anchor of the KING5 Morning news and leads a Get-Fit health and wellness franchise, which is streamed live and on Facebook live.
