Judy Hsu is an award-winning American journalist who currently works as an anchor and reporter at WLS-TV, ABC7 in Chicago. She anchors the station’s 11 am News with Terrelle Brown. Furthermore, she features long interviews that are broadcast on Sunday mornings called Newsviews and she has proven herself to be a journalist with one of the best deliveries in the broadcast industry.
She was thrilled to return to her hometown to join ABC 7 as an anchor on the station’s 4:30-7 weekday news. Hsu helped lead the morning show for 15 years before his promotion to the afternoon and early evening. She has been a part of almost every big story in Chicago, whether reporting in the neighborhoods or as a news desk anchor.
Hsu reported live from the White House bringing ABC viewers extensive coverage of his one-on-one interview with President Barack Obama before he left the Oval Office. As a rookie reporter in California, she covered the OJ Simpson verdict live from the Los Angeles courthouse and was one of the youngest to fly with the Blue Angels.

Prior to joining her current station, she starred in the weekly 4pm news on KFMB-TV in San Diego. She also served as the station’s weekend anchor and general assignment reporter. Born in Taipei, she remains fluent in Mandarin.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Furthermore, she started her broadcasting career at the campus radio station WPGU-FM.
