Julie Mason is an American journalist who currently serves as the host of “Julie Mason Mornings” and former host of “The Press Pool” on SiriusXM Radio’s POTUS channel. She was a White House correspondent for the Houston Chronicle, the Washington Examiner and Politico during the George W. Bush administration.
Most notably, she landed her first job as a clerk in the Washington office of the Dallas Morning News. She then went to Texas in 1988, where she worked as a reporter for the Houston Chronicle. She was then transferred to the newspaper’s Washington office in 2001. Unfortunately, she was fired in 2008 while serving as the newspaper’s White House correspondent.
Later, in 2011, she joined SiriusXM. In 2014, she received the Gracie Award from the Alliance for Women in the Media for Outstanding Performance. Furthermore, she was secretary and board member of the White House Correspondents Association.
