Justin Ervin is an African-American filmmaker, producer, and photographer known for being the husband of Ashley Graham, a model. Ervin holds a master’s degree in cinematography from the American Society of Cinematographers in LA.
Justin’s first documentary, As in the Mirror, was filmed in an Italian town. In 2012, he made his feature-length documentary “Elephant in the Room” which made him a big dog in the film industry. The documentary was screened at several film festivals such as the Garden State Film Festival, the San Diego Black Film Festival, and the Vail Film Festival. It also won the best documentary filmed in 2013.
At the New Filmmakers LA event, Ervins’ second documentary, Six Months Later, also won the audience’s choice award. He has worked on several short films such as Essence Black Magic Giri: A’Dorian Thomas and Peach Fuzz. Furthermore, in 2013, he founded his own production company Element Films and has been associated with many clients in creating videos and campaigns.
