Justine Waldman is an American broadcast journalist who currently serves as a news anchor and reporter for KRON 4 News, based in San Francisco, California, since 2011. Previously, she worked as a news reporter and correspondent for Channel 7 News WHDH, based in Boston, Massachusetts, from 2010 to 2011. Waldman also worked as a field and investigative reporter for WCAU NBC 10 News in Philadelphia in 2009.
Waldman was born in the suburbs of New York City as the only child in her family. She grew up as a very intelligent young girl who loved to play with her innovative toys in her father’s backyard. Justine also played several sports games while in high school. She attended a public high school situated in New York City and graduated with her high school diploma in 1998. Justine then graduated with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 2003.
Waldman began her career working as a news anchor and reporter for WKTV NewsChannel 2. She spent three years at the stations covering various news stories both nationally and in several states. In 2006, Justine left WKTV and joined WFTX FOX 4 News in the tropical climate of Florida as a field reporter and anchor. She also spent three years working for WFTX Nws until her official departure in 2009.
Justine left WFTX and joined Philadelphia-based WCAU NBC 10 News, where she worked for six months before joining Channel 7 News WHDH based in Boston, Massachusetts. Justine worked for WHDH for a year before announcing her official departure from the station. Waldman officially joined KRON 4 News in March 2011.
