Kai Jackson is an American journalist who currently works as a co-anchor for FOX45’s nightly news. He is a veteran journalist with over 28 years of experience covering local, national and international news and stories for affiliate and network television news.
In 2014, Jackson was a national correspondent for the Sinclair Broadcast Group covering related stories. Previously, he was an anchor, talk show host and reporter for 20 years at WJZ-TV in Baltimore. Jackson also covered some of the biggest stories, including the 9/11 attack on America.
Most notably, he is the co-founder of a film company called Documentary, dedicated to telling unusual and untold stories of people and history. In addition, he is a member of several organizations, including the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Association of Black Journalists, the International Documentary Association, and the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
Jackson received a Bachelor of Arts in English from South Carolina State College. He went on to receive a Masters in Cinema from american university. On top of all that, Kai is an avid gardener and reader and practices Shotokan Karate.
