While there, she spent time covering life in the pandemic, Pennsylvania politics, racial justice rallies and the 2020 election.

Cheung graduated in the winter of 2014 from temple university. She managed to graduate a semester early with a BA in Media Studies and Production and a Minor in History. While at university, she was an active member of Temple Update as an anchor, reporter and producer. She also interned at various media outlets in Philadelphia and overseas in Hong Kong.
