Kate Bolduan biography
Kate Bolduan is an American journalist who currently serves as the anchor of At This Hour with Kate Bolduan on CNN. Furthermore, Bolduan also anchors State of America with Kate Bolduan on CNN International.
Previously, Kate worked as a co-anchor on CNN’s New Day and The Situation Room. She also served as a congressional correspondent in Washington, D.C. and as the network’s general correspondent.
Before moving to CNN, Bolduan co-anchored The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. Here she was able to provide current events, breaking news, political headlines and reports in lively discussions during the two-hour program.
Bolduan studied at Goshen Middle School which is a public school in her hometown. She later joined George Washington University. She studied and graduated from Phi Beta Kappa in 2005 with a BA in Journalism.
During her time at George Washington University, Bolduan walked for the women’s volleyball team and served with the student theater organization. While still at school, she spent time in Madrid, Spain. She was able to learn and speak Spanish because of it.

Bolduan began her career at CNN as a national correspondent for CNN Newsource in 2007. She has provided breaking news coverage and reporting for a large number of CNN Newsource affiliates.
