Born in Plaistow, Newham, East London, he later moved to South London and started acting in primary school. His mother played a big part in the nature of his talent by encouraging him to audition for the Sylvia Young Theater School when he was 6 years old. He later trained at the Barbara Speak Stage School and later at the Italian Conti Academy of Theater Arts.
He has appeared in British films such as Shank and Montana. He was later cast as Tom Okanawe in the CBBC television series Wolfblood. In May 2018, it was announced that he would star opposite Gillian Anderson and Asa Butterfield in Sex Education.
