Keely Shaye Smith is an American Journalist, Author, TV Host, Glamor Model and Actress. For six years, she has been an environmental correspondent for ABC’s The Home Show. At first, she worked on an MTV music video title, Stuck with You.
Smith also appeared as Valerie Freeman in the medical drama General Hospital. She went on to work for CBS’ “Entertainment Tonight”, HBO’s “World Entertainment Report” and NBC’s “Today Show” as an entertainment correspondent.
Smith also hosted Great Bears, which is a series for the Outdoor Network. While she was a TV producer, she created and presented ‘Home Green Home’. This was an ecological and garden show that premiered on PBS.
Smith is also the producer and director of the award-winning documentary titled Poisoning Paradise. It was based on Kauai’s toxic agricultural environment.
As she is also an author, she is currently working on her book titled Gourmet Gardener which is about to be released. She also contributed to Los Angeles Confidential Magazine.
