Kelly Rippin is an American journalist who is best known for being the former anchor of the WZTV Fox show 17 Morning News in Nashville, Tennessee. She is currently working as a morning anchor for WLWT Channel 5’s News in Cincinnati, Ohio.
after graduating Butler Catholic School for her elementary education, Rippin enrolled at Butler Senior High School in 2005. She later graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a dual major in public relations and broadcast journalism. During her college days, she was actively involved with the non-profit charity organization Penn Dance Marathon.
Most notably, her career began during her studies when she was an anchor for the Center County Report. In mid-2007, she joined WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh, where she completed part of her internship. After her tenure there, she interned in New York between April and December 2008.
