Kristin Thorne is an American Award-winning journalist who currently works as a reporter for WABC-TV Channel 7 Eyewitness News in New York. Prior to joining Channel 12 in January 2012, Thorne worked at News 12 Westchester. She also worked on WHTM-TV ABC 27 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Kristin graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and earned his master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the prestigious Medill School of Journalism in Northwest University.
She has been recognized with numerous honors for her accounts, including an Emmy Award, an Edward R. Murrow Territorial Award, some honors from the Associated Press Broadcasters Association and the Society of Professional Journalists. Additionally, Kristin has received five Emmy Awards and four Floio Awards, which respect Long Island’s best newscasts.
